Teh First LOLCAT Ever (ca. 1870s)
In teh history of lolcats, HappyCat is acknowlegde as the first. But Lolcats have existed since at least the 1870s, when British portrait photographer Harry Pointer created a photograph series featuring felines posed in various situations, to which he added amusing text intended to further enhance their appeal. It is unknown, though, if these first lolcats ever get cheezburgers for noms.
